Prepay
With Prepay, it's up to you to choose how much you want to recharge and how often. If you run out of credit, there are a number of ways you can recharge:
1) The easiest way is by registering your credit card with Vodafone. Then you can recharge at any time, no matter where you are by:
a) Selecting 'My Account' from the Vodafone menu on your mobile, or
b) Calling 1555 from your mobile, or
c) Visiting Vodafone Australia
d) If you have a Vodafone live! mobile, by hitting the Vodafone live! button and selecting 'My Vodafone'.
OR
2) BPAY® a direct payment from your bank account, online or over the phone. You can even BPAY® a family member or friend's account.
To use BPAY®
- Call your bank to set up Internet or phone banking
- Use the Vodafone Prepay BPAY® biller code: 1107
- Use the 10 digit Vodafone mobile number you want to recharge, as your payment reference.
- Enter the amount you want to recharge with, for example:
- to recharge on the $49 Maxi Cap, enter 49
- to recharge with $30, enter 30
The account will be recharged on the second business day, after the payment is received.
OR
3) Purchase a Vodafone Recharge Voucher from one of thousands of participating outlets.
Autopay
With Autopay, you never have to worry about topping up again - just set it up once and forget about it. When you purchase your Value Bundle in the Online Store choose Autopay, then in the checkout you will be asked to choose the Autopay option that suits you:
a) Nominate an amount of your choice (this will initially be set at $5 when you set up via the Online Store) and when your balance runs below this amount, it will be automatically topped-up with your selected Value Bundle amount. This is perfect if you don't want to be caught without credit. If your balance is still above your nominated amount when your credit expires, your account will be topped-up on the next day.
OR
b) Nominate a date (this will initially be set at your expected date of delivery when you set up via the Online Store) to top-up your account and once a month, your account will be topped-up with your selected Value Bundle amount. This is great if you need to stick to a budget.
If you run out of credit before the date you're due to be topped-up, don't worry. You'll still be topped up on your nominated date and you can recharge via one of the Prepay methods above, to tide you over.
Either way, you'll never have to worry about running out of credit or going over your budget. It really is the hassle free way to pay.

On Account
With On Account, you get a bill each month, either online or in the mail. You simply use your mobile and get charged for it at the end of each billing period. You can pay your bill a number of different ways, including via the Vodafone menu on your mobile, online, direct debit, BPAY® or over the phone (to name a few), just like you do with other bills.
